What is the Best Anal Sex Toy for a Guy?

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

I’m very partial to the Aneros MGX Male G-Spot Stimulator myself. It was medically researched and designed by doctors and I’ve heard that it is the only anal toy with its design patented, so you know its doing something at least a little different than the other toys out there. It can even be used hands free.

If you’re looking for a good anal vibrator I really like the Scorpion Stinger. It has a built in cock ring, and the anal vibrator part of it is super flexible. Since you can bend it exactly how you want it, it’s a great toy for prostate stimulation.

Like all anal toys don’t forget the lube. My favorite is the water based lubricant Boy Butter. It is the only water based lube I’ve ever tried that didn’t dry up and evaporate mid-play. Boy Butter is safe to use on both the Aneros MGX and the Scorpion Stinger.

Top 3 myths about anal sex and anal sex toys

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

1. Anal sex is just for gay men. Men and women, gay, straight, and everything in-between can and do enjoy anal play. In men anal sex toys stimulate the prostate gland, which is also known as the ‘male g-spot’. Anal sex toys can stimulate the g-spot, indirectly, in woman.

2. Anal sex is painful. Like any kind of penetration there is a potential to make your partner uncomfortable or feel pain while having anal sex. The key is to go slowly, communicate often, and use plenty of lube.

3. Anal sex is dirty. All sexual acts involve an exchange of bodily fluids and have some small level of spreading disease. Part of being a considerate partner is keeping yourself clean and fresh. Most people are fine with showering or bathing before anal sex but there are anal douches on the market if you want an added level of cleanliness. When using anal sex toys, like with most toys, using a condom with them will make clean up easier and help stop the spread of germs.

Latex gloves and condoms: yea or nay?

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

I saw this forum thread somewhere else…check it out

Newbie: I’m a little new to both the Tabu Toys forums and to anal sex toys or even anal sex in general. I keep on hearing a lot about using latex gloves when fisting and putting condoms on your anal sex toys before using them but kind of don’t see the point. What do you guys think?

Wildbill: I always use condoms on my anal sex toys. It makes clean up a snap. All you do is slide that rubber off and you’re done. I think my anal sex toys last longer and work better because of it.
My girl demands we use latex gloves when doing any type of anal play. Mostly because she likes it to be just one of many things we do at a time and, of course is worried about spreading germs to her other areas.

MysticAngel: Anal tissue can tear easily! You are so much more likely to get a disease; you should definitely use condoms and gloves. Even if you’re both tested and loyal to each other you still have to worry about regular old staph infections.

Sexymom: Call me crazy but I’ve always thought using latex gloves makes fisting a little more painless. I swear that the combination of gloves and lube make for a smoother experience.

Silicone, anal toys, and lubes . . .Oh! My!

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

I love anal sex toys but I definitely have concerns about keeping them clean. I’ve found that anal toys made from silicone are key to keeping things clean and nice down there. Not only is it easy to wipe down and disinfect but it also feels really soft to touch.

The one downside to silicone anal toys is that you shouldn’t use silicone based lube with them . . . and of course a good lube is key to really enjoying your anal toys! There’s no natural lubrication to be found anally so you definitely need something out of a bottle you like.

The old joke for anal toys is that “too much lube is almost enough”. I really like silicone lube but it can ruin anal toys made from silicone or cyberskin. The best part of lube shopping, I think, is trying them out to see how they work. Oil based lubes have limitations, same as silicone lubes; they can’t be used with latex condoms and toys. This basically leaves water based lubes which are great for sensitive skin and won’t ruin your anal toys! The only complaint I have about water based lubes is that they can dry up so you either have to keep applying more or you need to keep a spray bottle of water handy.

Female dual penetration masturbation

Monday, August 25th, 2008

Anal sex toys like the Classic Jelly Anal T are great for anal sex play. But it can be difficult to manage an anal vibe and a vag vibe at the same time during masturbation. Masturbation should be pleasant and un-stressful, so treat yourself to some dual-penetration sex toys and re-master your masturbation.
Anal beads like the large Sensafirm Tangerine Booty Balls, and butt plugs like those in the Sensofirm Booty Bumper Kit can enhance masturbation and leave your hands reasonably free. Just insert the anal beads or butt plug before using a vaginal vibrator, and leave them in while you continue your play.

If you enjoy a pumping sensation during masturbation, try a dual-penetrator like the “U Send Me” Double Ended Vibrator. This will allow you to control the dual penetration without the hassle of managing two toys at once.

If getting yourself off has gotten to be a hassle, there is hope. People change and so do sexual preferences. Treat yourself to a real treat, and re-master your masturbation.
